Raise the roof and rock the floor. Together, we can ensure this landmark remains a vital gathering place, honoring its legacy for future generations!

About the campaign

The Grange Hall, a 165-year-old post-and-beam barn in the village of West Tisbury, is a testament to Martha's Vineyard's rich agricultural history and tradition. Built in 1859 by the Martha's Vineyard Agricultural Society and sold to the Vineyard Preservation Trust by the Town of West Tisbury in 1997 to restore and continue its care, the landmark remains a vibrant community hub.

Time, extensive use and the island's salty climate have deteriorated the historic Grange Hall. Urgent revitalization is necessary to meet modern standards, ensure safety, and address ongoing wear and tear.

As a valued community space, we seek your support to raise $2 million in 2024. This funding will help us strengthen the foundation's structure, install a new roof, and preserve the hall's historic features.
